Lighthouse is outdoors for July!

This July 2010, the Lighthouse Church of Newcastle will be meeting at the Waterfront in the Port of Newcastle at Stillwell Lane and Lakebreeze Drive (map).

Why? Philippians 2:1-11 is the passage that prompted the idea of going outside. In this passage, Paul urges us who are followers of Christ to immitate Christ. He reminds us that Christ used his advantage for us and call us out to offer our advantage for others.

So... to be a tangible expression of Jesus Christ in our community (our vision statement), we are meeting outside and redirecting our July rent to the local foodbank. See you at the waterfront!
